Cindy has always considered it a privilege to support at-risk women and their families. In 2018, she felt the Lord prompting her to go deeper in her mission to help women in crisis. After sharing this calling with her pastor, he encouraged her not to wait, but to trust in God's voice and guidance, knowing that He would equip her for the journey ahead.Cindy later shared her vision with her daughter, Elecia, and together they began to pray intentionally about the path forward. As Cindy continued to serve women and children within her family and local community, the vision began to take shape.In 2023, that vision became a reality when Virtue By Design was officially incorporated in the state of Georgia. Shortly thereafter, a board of directors was formed, and the organization obtained 501(c)(3) nonprofit status.In January 2025, Virtue By Design began serving women in the community from the Philameno Building—a ministry space generously provided by FOCUS Ministries in Hamilton, GA. Then in May 2025, a new chapter began when Community Chapel, one of Harris County’s local churches, offered a dedicated space to support the work with at-risk women. This is a foundation for helping women develop stronger, healthier families and build lasting change within our community. Virtue By Design will continue its ministry as we add a "Woman of Grace" Mentorship program in September 2025.This sanctuary for women is equipped with training resources that provide each woman the opportunity to develop entrepreneurship skills in a relaxing, welcoming environment—ideal for small group Bible studies, mentorship, and encouragement.

Behind every meaningful mission is a faithful circle of support. This small group of trusted advisors and encouragers walks closely alongside the vision, offering wisdom, prayer, and steady guidance. Each member brings unique insight—whether through spiritual counsel, professional expertise, or lived experience—but they all share a common heart: to uplift, pray over, and speak life into the mission.

They are not just voices of reason; they are voices of faith—helping to discern next steps, celebrate victories, and stand firm during challenges. Their encouragement is quiet but powerful, providing a strong foundation that helps the mission flourish with integrity and purpose.
